Povo da Mata is the provisional title for the work in progress by Marcelo Evelin and his Demolition Incorporada, a company firmly headquartered in Piauí, Brazil, a Northern and impoverished Brazilian State. Filme is the first part of this project, forged between pandemic limitations as a vote of confidence, friendship and experimentation, which also joins together two other artists from Piauí. The enchantment we seek to unravel in this conversation rests not only on the cultural and historic complexity of meeting at a distance, but also on the artistic research developed, currently as a film and in the future on stage.
